Exactly. That's how I feel too. Favorite Worst Nightmare was a great album, but unlike Whatever People Say(...) I could skip over, say, This House is a Circus and Do Me Favour and not care nearly as much as if I skipped over Mardy Bum or View from the Afternoon. The first album had this magical raw energy about it that I always have to sing and move to. The drums have a lot to do with it. Matt is an impecable drummer. And I can't get over Alex's lyrics, more so on the first album then any other. His social commentary is so great and his melodies are so catchy.

I really miss the sounds of the first two albums. I still enjoy the fuck out of these guys.
