I just wiki'd Minus the Bear. Apparently, it has nothing to do with Bear Vs. Shark, like I had previously thought.
I think it's funny that they have something to do with the band Botch.
This thread needs more of The Doors and Beck.
"Slip out (LITTLE More Than Before)" is a pretty cool Beck song. I haven't heard any others. Has anyone else noticed how it sounds like "Santeria" by Sublime?

That's not a song by the artist Beck, that's a song from the anime "BECK."

lmao lololol
But seriously, check out The Doors if you haven't already. Their guitarist is beast. One of my favorite songs = Spanish Caravan.

Re: WHAT MUSIC MIGHT A PILLOWS FAN ENJOY? :O (recommendation
I've recently completed my collection of music by the pillows. I have every released song from Pantomime-TB (various albums and singles, and downloads of Panto, 90s My Life, and Moon Gold). Anyways, the question is... what should I listen to while I'm taking my break? I've kinda' been listening to NOTHING but the pillows for about a year now. Basically, recommend me bands/groups to listen to.
Which era of the pillows is your favorite?
if you're like me and a sucker for their grungey pop rock era, I reccomend
Foo Fighters
Nirvana
Weezer
Radiohead (pablo honey and the bends, the later stuff is good but loses the traditional rock feel.)
for starters
If you want to be hip you'll want to listen to a bunch of indie bands. A few I like are...
She's Your Sister
The Cells
The Redfords
The Band Apart
however if your favorite era is either the current era after the guitars got cleaned up, or the sort of experimental pre-pml stuff, I cant offer muchas far as reccomendations.

Just for the sake of convincing people that your (anyone's) recommendations are worth checking out, it would be very nice if we could get some youtube clips up in here.
I, for one, have never been driven to check out a band/musician just based off a name and a song title. Link, link, link!!

Seconding what the Rhinoman said. It's easy to recommend an artist, and more helpful to provide a way to quickly check said artist out with what you feel is a good, representative song.

I stand by my statement that AIDONWANADAI is the purest musical form of joy, ever.
