That seems to be the only comparison that can be accurately drawn, but what's wrong with bands whose members happen to be all women if their music is good? For me, it's actually a plus if they're good looking [i]and[/i] their music is good.

Ehh, the songs I've heard by this band strike me as a the girl version of Sparta Local's dance-rock style. Which is starting to tire me at this point. The vid Jomei posted is decent, though.

I guess I'm mainly just not a fan of that vocal style. I'm not AGAINST high-pitched female vocals (I'm deeply in love with any music from Chobits, and the Excel Saga theme)...but this just didn't hit me well. Same with Sloth Love Chunks . Yeah, and the noodles comment was pretty off.
But as we all know...3 Japanese females with instruments = NOODLES.

Not even trying to be the total asshole I am here. But even when this thread was new this band was old. Got this all a while ago. Renai Spirits at RIJ 06 was pretty good. If you can browse my files....which you can't...... you can download whatever you want.

It's weird because until a few months ago he was pretty normal - just go back and read the first few pages of the Number Girl thread or something. I think Culen and the buffet put him up to his bad behavior as an initiation or something similarly ridiculous. On the other hand, at least Culen occasionally chimes in with some sort of useful information, Youtube videos, etc. I'm pretty surprised Tatsu hasn't been permabanned.

Cuteness doesn't mean shit on a record. In a video or live, sure, but if you're just listening to the music, who cares?
I've come to kind of detest her voice. The singer from Hoover's Ooover too, unfortunately. Neither really have any depth.
And so in that respect noodles > all other Japanese girl bands.
