Alright, so tracks 2 and 3 aren't SO hot...but the last song, Kyokai Mae Tori is an instrumental...and pretty nice.
And we already knew I Love You was just...lovely.

Did they lose a guitarist after their second album or did they stop caring about solos and whatnot? The guitar work seems twenty times better on Sambomaster wa kimi ni katarikakeru than on their later stuff.

Sambomaster was always a three-man band. Gt/Vox, Bass, Drums.

The reason you hear the laying on Kimi Ni is because...well...he wanted to layer it. Separately of course. Maybe Mr. Sambo wanted the most recent album's sound to be something easier to replicate live?

I just got their new album in the mail. Pretty good. They throw in a couple of little solos which is nice. It sounds a whole lot like the older one I mentioned. I would say it's a little too similar actually, a lot of the songs sound like they're almost ripped straight out of Kimi Ni.

They never shut the hell up about love through the whole thing. Started to bug me by the end

I looooves Sambomaster.

I was just about to make a post about this! Does anyone have a good site for the lyrics? I've been dying to sing along to a couple of songs, especially the new album, and maybe even see their English translations.

I wish there was a Sambomaster community like IM.

Do any of you have their DVDs? I really need them.

They're a little too loud and annoying for me, but I like a bunch of their songs. I only listen to them sparingly because sometimes the singer is just too much for me.
