You're getting all worked up, and none of us have any idea why...bad day? My post was entirely innocuous, but regardless, I don't mind if you take your frustrations out on me. However, if there's something on your mind, you ought to let us know what's up instead of acting out. Like I said, [i]I[/i] don't mind, but [i]you[/i] might, later on - one's biggest regrets are oft begotten from times of emotional distress.

I mean, I know that saying something stupid on an internet forum shouldn't be on top of your list of worries, but there's no point in exacerbating whatever's apparently going on in your life right now.

Alright I'm cooled down now, and yeah I was having a frustrating day and when I wanted to come back to something familiar and simple (IM) and see what my online acquaintances (some of you I have had the pleasure to have met and got to know a little about you) I see the same bullshit that carries with this forum. So I had a more aggressive response than I normally would have. Sorry Sheer but I was just trying to make a point. Don't be a dick even if its a no harm no foul response. I mean I'm not the forum police or anything so just take my request into consideration in the future.

What I could have said was "Damn way to be a dick Sheer, Camio has his opinions, we all do so quit it."
But I doubt it would have stirred up any commotion. I also would like to apologize to any other person I might have offended (Mare, Skool)

Sure, I understand your position. If I said I was mature would it have made my post any more valid? Not really.
If I had really met Sheer, we would have a small but general outline of who we are, so I wouldn't go and kick the shit out of him just cause I know he is a dick sometimes. It was just a guy kind of response. Like if you get embarrassed by a friend or someone you are a acquainted with you would tell that person, "just wait and I'll have the last laugh," or "I'll get you for this." What would these statements imply? Of course its a threat, but more of a common, guy vs. guy scenario.

No, first this has to go on for another 4 pages with people who were never involved in the arguement jumping in to give their opinion, along with some generic neutrals posting comments like "lol sigged!" Then, we need somebody to get banned and leave, but come back a month later on an new account pretending to be from Korea.

Being a guy sometimes entails being aggressive and making empty threats, sure. On the other hand, being a guy [i]always[/i] entails picking on your peers in jest, and being able to take such harassment from your peers. However, when you mix these responses, you stop being a man, and you start being a dick that nobody wants to be around. I'm not saying you're a dick, Brye, but unless you learn to keep these responses separate, you surely will be. Remember, the number one rule of manhood is the number three rule of the Killing Field - there are few exceptions, for serious issues which require a righteous indignation (see GR and homosexuality).

I'm sure if I met Camio, we'd get along great. It's nothing personal, and I bear no ill will toward him - and as a man, he likely bears no such ill will toward me. That's what having a penis is all about.
