Anyone know what the part in "Yureta Yureta Yureta" means? It is also a name of one of there songs. It is.... Roppon No Kurutta Hagane No Shindoo. I like that part in the Yureta song, it reminds me of some drunk guy doing karaoke, and its pretty enjoyable.

Hell, what band doesn't steal riffs and fragments of melodies from other bands?

Just so we're all clear, all of the people who write for Pitchfork Media are pretentious indier-than-thou snobs, who'd rather talk about their favorite underground Swedish math-noise-rock folk-techno than review the damn CD.
No Pitchfork Media reviews should be taken seriously. At all.

Honestly, I was just surprised that Zazen Boys were even being covered by Pfork. Kinda threw me. Kind of exciting at the same time, though, even if the review is bullplop.

I can't really express how I feel about pitchfork while I'm in the company of little kids.
Which means I actually could express that here, but I think the above sentence really says it all.

Pitchfork doesn't actually care about the music.
This what Pitchfork was concerned with:
1. The politics behind everything.
2. The production.
3. Indie bands you've never heard of, but that are mentioned in the album review, just to make themselves look cooler and more "underground".
4. The hottest niche genre of the month, ie: techno-billy hardcore, or scottish grunge rap.
5. Appearing smarter than you.
6. Not really having an opinion one way or the other.
7. Obscure = Inherently better than something that's well-known.
Something Awful's parody of it pretty much explains it all. Hillarious: http://www.somethingawful.com/fake/richdork/

While I think Pitchfork's an awful site with awful writers, I don't think they actually do any of these things. These are more in line with Stylus or cokemachineglow.

After watching Days of Nekomachi live on Factory 2004, I've decided that Yoshikane's guitar line is way cooler on the live version. I'm really let down by the album version now
There isn't an alternate version on any compilations or anything is there?

nah, that was second to last. he introduced the last song and it smarted with an M sound. there was no title at the bottom of the screen like there was on the others. it sounded very oriental. might have been a cover.
anyway, yeah it would be cool if Mukai put out a solo album...
i'm currently searching for Matsuri Sessions Tokyo with no luck...the one at Yaon is easy to find though.
anyone have this album?
i will trade if u want

Thanks for a pointless post and for putting my question a page behind. Theres so many pointless posts these days. "They're expendible" - that's what Rummy said.
