My last show was MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS/MO'SOME TONEBENDER at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM.

My next show will be OGRE YOU ASSHOLE/the telephones/サカナクション at Shin-Kiba STUDIO COAST.

That's right, I'm in Tokyo.
...But, all of the pillows shows here for their 20th anniversary tour are sold out.

yeah that band that I was complaining to you about because I went practically deaf for 48 hours. But it's been a year since then, and I did some research. Turns out that scientists have developed a cheap but highly advanced method of limiting the amount of sound that reaches your inner ear, significantly lowering the chances of permanent damage. They're called ear plugs, and apparently you can get them at any supermarket or pharmacy.

But yeah, they aren't called 'the loudest band in New York' for nothing. If you don't wear earplugs and stand close to the front, they will fucking annihilate your hearing.

i'm probably going to buy those soon. sounds pretty promising. not too crazy about the design but i'd rather look like a nerd than deaf.

Ugh, wtf. Went to purchase tickets for Mew and it's going to be a 21 plus only show...I turn 21 three days after the show. DX

I saw Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds last month.

FF6 opera live... unbelievable.

Overpriced souvenir booklets = I love FF and all but the stupid things cost over half the price of a ticket.

Just got back from Japan:
2009/8/2 - The Birthday / The Pillows @ ZEPP SENDAI

Unfortunately, had to leave half way through the Pillows' set in order to catch the last train back to Tokyo...

Talk about worst show times ever. I actually stayed overnight in Kyoto waiting four hours for the earliest morning train rather than miss any of the pillows's set at the first one of their shows I went to, haha.
