You aren't the only one, but I haven't listened to them in a while since I burned myself out on a whole shitload of post-rock about a year ago. They stand out pretty well above the rest regardless, though. Lift Yr. Skinny Fists is practically a goddamn masterpiece.

I like the song from "28 Days Later." 18 minutes of awesomeness.

I like post-rock but I still haven't heard them yet. They're on the to-listen list.

What exactly is "post-rock," anyway? How can a rock band be "post"-rock?
Also, this thread would have been massive win if it would have ended with the first two posts, due to the massive lulz caused.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-rock
I like Slint and Tortoise the most, out of the post-rock I've heard. And Natsumen, if they count. Mogwai, Mono, and Explosions In The Sky are good, but their styles are often far too similar and they aren't nearly as interesting to me as the other ones I mentioned. Since I haven't heard Godspeed I don't know where they fit in.
It would be funny if somebody misconstrued the genre to be rock by postal workers.
