 Band of Horses, Beirut, Belle and Sebastian, Bright Eyes I enjoy these bands. Coincidently they all start with the letter B. I only like one bright eyes album, "I'm wide awake it's morning." Most of their other stuff is pretty lame. Anybody else like any of these artists?

I haven't heard all of Belle and Sebastian's stuff, but the single 'I'm waking up to us' is good times.

Belle and Sebastian is my default "Don't want to listen to pillows or anything loud/rough/metal" band.
I love them dearly.

You should look into some of the E6 bands if you haven't already. They are a great alternative to not wanting to listen to anything loud/hard/ or rough.
Some of these bands include:
The Essex Green or Essex Green
Olivia Tremor Control
Of Montreal
Neutral Milk Hotel
The Black Swan Network
and while you're at it you should look into The Decemberists, Arcitecture In Helskinki, Wolf Parade and Clap your hands say yeah, if you haven't already.

I love Belle and Sebastian, but I can't help but laugh at the fact that you like Bright Eyes.
But that's not just you. I'd laugh at anyone that likes Bright Eyes.
