Yeah, Knights was great.

The one thing I like about Muse is that they're really talented. A 3 piece band, that's so loud, I thought they were a 4 piece band until I read up on them. Every single member is extremely talented at what they do.

They are hardly a three piece band.

If you have indeed seen them live than you would know they have people
manning all their computers and behind the scene effects, as well
as another musician playing piano/keyboards for them.

I did see them live. The people "manning the computers" was one guy on stage with a keyboard, for some synth stuff (mainly their music from their new album, but even then, it's not much) and probably another person for some misc background sounds (like some violins or vocal effects). Everything else is them. And Matt DOES play the piano on stage. Like Butterflies & Hurricanes, he actually walks over to the piano to play the piano solo. Or Sunburn, instead of playing the guitar part, he plays the entire song on the piano. If you ever seen them live, you'd know.

I don't know if you actually listened to them, but really listening to the music, you can tell they're three pieces. Matt does add some layered guitars in the album songs; But live, he has to change them. He said it himself that he had to change some songs for the live show. And that's how he learned that he can still sound powerful, without layering guitars.

If you didn't know, they take pride in doing live performances. I was watching a clip when they were forced to lip sync a performance for a show. So they were absolutely ridiculous, like Dom playing the bass, Chris on the drums, and Matt just fucking around.

I saw them in Atlanta at The Tabernacle.

I was about 10 feet from Matt, and enjoyed the show for the most part.

Yes, he does play the piano, better than the guitar for sure, but

the point remains, they are not a true three piece band...which was

the original point of the post.
