1956? You may want to change that. That would make him about 50, he was 73.
Anyway, it's pretty sad that he had to die on Christmas. I feel bad for his family.
R.I.P. James Brown.

I actually said what Jomei said when I first heard about this. Then felt kinda bad. Then I didn't care anymore.

He's cool and all, I'd like to celebrate Christmas, instead of mourning over somebody.

yes, let us celebrate. by overeating, spending lots and lots of money on worthless crap, getting stuck up in mall parking lots for our expensive gifts, and pretending to be nice to people for a few weeks in a year.
Yeah. Merry christmas, everybody.
yeah, that is pretty sad, though. First Barry White, then Richard Pryor, then Ray Charles, now him. That really sucks.
And don't forget Mr. Miyagi. That was the worst thanksgiving ever.

I was just kidding, hoping to stir up some anger. It's rarely a good thing when a musician dies. Ted Nugent will be an exception.

The Nuge? No way.
Anyway, I don't think being a musician has anything to do with whether it's good or bad when someone dies. I'm fairly certain it's generally a bad thing, even though James Brown was kind of an asshole. But hey, John Lennon's death was mourned worldwide, and he battered girls.
Note: He was the prince of nothing. He was the one and only Godfather of Soul.

Wow. Didn't even know this happened. (Been away for awhile.) Sad news, indeed.
