I know, it started Harmonic Minor, and then I switched to minor pentatonic.
Without Blues, there would be no Jazz. Jazz is directly linked to Blues.
And they actually complement each other nicely.
And of course there is even a mixture of the styles, it's called HardBop.

I'd go with Grant Green and some of Miles Hard Bop stuff.
Though Bebop is my favorite, with Cool Jazz running
a close second.

Here is something else.
Dmi - F - B - A7
-forgot prechorusy thingy-
F - A (adding some notes on the b string...) - B - C
