Thanks for the sentences fragment!
But as for your...suggestion, yes I guess you suggested AKG is the Japanese Linkin Park.
They might be. The main thing that would do it is the lyrics. Linkin Park has godawful "I AM SO EMO LOOK AT MY PAIN DO YOU SEE MY PAIN NO ONE UNDERSTANDS MY PAIN I GOT SO FAR AND TRIED SO OH GOD NO ONE'S EVEN LISTENING BECAUSE I'M A TERRIBLE LYRICIST."
I've never looked at any AKG translations (are there any? I think I found one for Rewrite and one for Haruka Kanata, which of course are their two anime OPs), but if they're that bad, they MIGHT be the Japanese Linkin Park.
However, the main thing that bugs the FUCK out of me with Linkin Park is their annoying electronica bullshit. They have a fucking DJ. The only rock band that had a DJ that was any good that I can think of is Incubus, and they use him well. They also have a lot of random beepity boop beep shit going on in their music that's just annoying. And they try WAY too fucking hard to be edgy and cool.
I really don't think AKG is the Japanese Linkin Park though. Their sounds are completely different, and I think AKG is probably AT LEAST a little more talented than Linkin Park.
lol you wrote 3 words and i wrote like a page. haha.

I concur. "Drive" is a cool song, which i'm sure you all remember.
Even if "AsnKng-FuGrn" is emo or Jap. Linkin Park, i still can't understand the lyrics so i can just pretend they're not. Ignorance = Bliss.

i think, nowadays akg must use a dj, too. at least they do a lot of mixing. just listen to rewrite for example. or their "great" new version of hold me tight. and on top of that last scene, which actually makes me cry.
oh well, i probably just got tired of them, because i have to admit i really liked akg at the beginning. but i can't agree with most ppl, that solfa had so much variation on it, because i think they have absolutely the same style still, only less upbeat and more to the whining masafumi way of delivering his music.
parts of the album just make my ears hurt, because masafumi seems to has a depression phase now, or something.
i'll probably be kicked from some certain ppl again now. whatever <3

AKG does have some rather angsty emo lyrics, but I can't see how they could be considered the Japanese Linkin Park at all.
However, I did read that they did a show in Japan with Good Charlotte. That made me die a little inside.

Proof of this Good Charlotte/AKG show? I don't want to believe it.

I also have heard that Good Charlotte has sung in Japanese in their music.

Ugh, I won't listen to it to find out.
However, a number of other cool American bands are performing at this concert. Mars Volta, Steriogram, Dogs Die in Hot Cars (heard they're good), Sparta...so I mean, this isn't a TERRIBLE concert. I'd go.

Admittedly, I only heard about it from someone who went to the show in Japan and said, "AKG played before Good Charolette". So I guess it's not as bad as I initially thought.
