I'm only fourteen but my family brought me too a Blue Man Group Concert that was actually really cool. They did some funny things and some really cool things. Also they had special guests play with them. It was pretty cool but I'm hoping that in the future i can see some good memorable concerts. I would see concerts now, but there are no bands lately that i would really want to see live. Maybe some 1 hit wonders are catchy, but i wouldnt go to their concerts. If an old 90's band ever did a concert for any reason, then i may see one. Also since i'm moving to japan this summer, if the pillows have another concert, you know i'll be there.
EDIT: by the way i agree about american idiot. A few good songs but they have changed since some of their good albums. Warning and Dookie are my favorites. I really hate how they were eye shadow and punk stuff now, i miss the old green day.

I once went to a remy zero concert when i was a freshman in high school. It was definitely not my favorite day. A guy was crowd surfing and kicked me in the face so hard, he gave me a black eye. And from a f*ckin' remy zero concert... I mean, come on....
I'd also like to see Bright Eyes, so I can kick Conor's ass.
Haha, I saw them last night with Neva Dinova and Jessy Sykes. Jessy Sykes is terrible and her music should not be listened to with human ears.
Bright Eyes was incredible though. They just sounded so good. It was at the House of Blues in Orlando Florida, and I was on the 2nd floor setting on a bench right up against the railing facing the stage. Perfect acoustics, perfect view. It was an amazing concert, even if Conor wasn't all that talkative.
The last concert I went to (before that) was Jimmy Eat World. Reubens Accomplice (amazing) and Elefant (shitty live due to heroin use but good recorded) opened. It was a good concert, but I had to leave really early. I was also in the pit half the time, and I hate the pit.
Before that I went to the NINTENDO FUSION TOUR because it had video games and My Chemical Romance. It also had a bunch of shitty bands I don't like. MCR was ok. It was at the Hard Rock Live, and it wasn't even 25% full. The Hard Rock Live in Orlando is a fucking terrible venue.
Before THAT was Taking Back Sunday with Fallout Boy, Matchbook Romance, and their shitty opener Quick Fix Kills. Fallout Boy was the best that night in my opinion. I'm not crazy about TBS anymore, but I still like Fallout Boy. This was my second concert, and I decided to go into the pit again for some reason. I was practically being fucking sodomized the entire time, so half way through I went upstairs and found a place to stand where I could half-way see what was going on. I wish I had just gone straight upstairs and grabbed a bench like I did at the Bright Eyes concert. (This was at House of Blues Orlando again)
My first concert was Civic Tour. Get Up Kids, Thrice, Dashboard Confessional, and Hot Water Music opened. I'm a HUGE Hot Water Music fan, but they were fucking terrible live. My girlfriend convinced me that the pit was the COOOOOOLEST place to be for a concert (again, at House of Blues) so I obliged and went and stood on the floor near the stage with her. Hot Water Music played, I listened, they stopped playing, I stood waiting. Then The Get Up Kids came out. They were awesome. The crowd, at this point, wasn't being retarded, and I was up close, so I had a good view of them and could just stand there and enjoy the music and the performance. Then that ended and I stood and waited a little longer.
Thrice came out and all the jocks with latent homosexual tendencies started ramming into each other like a pack of stampeding fucking wildebeast. I really like Thrice, but these assholes ruined the whole concer t for me. It was probably about 150 degrees where I was because of all the people (sold out show) and I had 6 people leaning on me from four directions at all times. How this was possible, I don't really know, but it's the truth. Finally Thrice got off the stage and Dashboard Confessional played and they were good and the crowd calmed down. Dashboard was really good.
The end.
PS I don't ever plan on being in the pit again for anything other than like, an American Pillows tour or something.

Best Concerts: Pixies, Polysics, Pillows, Deerhoof, Gogol Bordello (!), Queens of the Stone Age, The Reverend Horton Heat, Hot Club of San Francisco.
Worst: The fucking Distillers, twice. Both times they were opening for good bands though.
Recent Experience: McCoy Tyner. Amazing, amazing show. Best musicianship I've ever seen in my life. For those of you that don't know, McCoy Tyner is an incredible jazz pianist who recorded some ridiculously important records with Coltrane in the 1950's. Billy Cobham was (as always) doing amazing things on the drumset, and Stanley Clarke clark is a bass god. The man was playing flamenco guitar on a stand-up bass, with incredible speed to boot. All of this was at a very nice little jazz club/Japanese restaurant also. See Tyner if you get the chance.
