 Gorillaz What do you guys think of the Gorillaz? I always found their music to be refreshing and interesting. I've been a fan ever since they appeared on Toonami's midnight run, around 9 years ago. They released a new single on the internet today. It's called Stylo.

The new album, Plastic Beach, is coming out on March 9th. It will feature guests like Mos Def (a personal favorite), Snoop Dogg, and Barry Gibb. I hope it'll be able to match up to Demon Days.

Re: Gorillaz Gorillaz were my very first favorite band, if you wanna call them that. I started getting into their stuff back in 2001, when Clint Eastwood was played everywhere. But mostly, thanks to Gorillaz I got into Blur (the man behind Gorillaz is Blur's frontman), Britpop and the alt-rock scene in general. They're still one of my most favorite artists. Have all their albums, compilations and DVDs, and nearly every released song on my computer.
As for the new single, I absolutely love it. There's some debate for not being single worthy, radio friendly etc. but I digress. I find it very catchy and it's definitely a grower. Can't wait for Plastic Beach!

Re: Gorillaz Have you guys seen a live performance by Gorillaz? I wasTHISclose to being able to see them in California in April  A live concert is basically Blur's frontman with a whole orchestra and stuff backing him up
