 RIP Alex Chilton
For those of you who haven't listened to Big Star, you're really missing out. Big Star was a hugely influential band from Memphis that had a short run in the early 70's. Lead singer and principal songwriter Alex Chilton passed away the other day. Here are some Big Star songs you might want to check out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pte3Jg-2Ax4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn1t6l7UUPchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIfPIwWn ... re=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNKSs1J3 ... re=relatedAnd here's what some people like Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips had to say about him. http://pitchfork.com/news/38220-artists ... x-chilton/
