Blue Album >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pinkerton, in my opinion. The lack of Blue Album you have is greatly, greatly disturbing. In fact, I'm just offended by this thread in general.

Their first album was their best album, end of story. They just went downhill from there.
Take a Bow - Muse One word to describe this track is 'epic' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-lBckzLwhE
no. muse broke up after absolution (possibly before, depending who you ask). thread: yes, blue is very very good. i for one listened to nothing but blue and pinkerton for like three months straight (it was a weird period) and you know what won out? pinkerton. blue gets old, pinkerton almost doesn't. however... muse reminds me of another good band from that period that got unlistenably bad... hot hot heat. hmm...

I think Pinkerton is pretty on-par with the blue album.

Yea HERMIT pretty much blew me away. I'm surprised I didn't check him out earlier, after all, he taught Sawao how to rock.

Re: Greatest (pop) songs of all time
There's even a thread about him, I think. Might just be contained within the Chewinggum Weekend thread though.

Re: Greatest (pop) songs of all time
I've listened to both albums many times, too. Guess I can connect a lot more with Blue Album than with Pinkerton. To be honest, I didn't even understand the hype around Pinkerton. Solid album, no doubt, but for me it doesn't come close to touching Blue Album. Tired of Sex, El Scorcho, Butterfly, Falling for You and Pink Triangle are usually the only songs on that album I'll listen to when I go through. As opposed to the Blue Album, which I'll listen to from start to finish every time.
