This thread is interesting.

This is what it accomplishes:

1) A consolidated place slackers to come whenever they want to learn how to play a pillows song that hasn't been tabbed.
2) Nothing at all - what incentive to people who actually tab songs have for tabbing your song out?

If you want to learn how to play a certain song, you should try to put some effort into figuring it out yourself. Don't get me wrong, some songs can be plain hard to figure out. Sometimes we have to rely on very skilled/dedicated tabbers like Overburn and Keitaro.

But really, this shouldn't be some "Hey, do my homework for me" thing. Maybe you should get a thread started with at least a little bit of work done on it so people can actually see you care about it, and have exerted the effort to try to figure it out.

There are many songs I'd like to see tabbed out - song by the pillows and many other bands. But I don't request them because I know 1) they're hard, 2) there aren't many other people who want to tab/play them, 3) it's probably hard for other people to tab them.

So yeah. Either try it out for yourselves, wait till it shows up, or just give up.
People aren't born with special tabbing talent. You just have to [i]try[/i].

Agree, because this is more organized and doesn't require one thread for each song that is requested.

at least you could say what in the song do you want. if you're not skilled, why should i kill myselft tabbing a hard song if in the end you won't be able to play it? if you feel like you won't be able to play what Manabe plays in one of these songs, spend your time with the tons of songs that have already been tabbed. we have a nice ammount, from Pantomime to Good Dreams (not considering the band scores). Now, if you really want to see a song tabbed so you'll be able to play all the stuff, i guess that if you spend a drop of sweat you'll have something done.

i don't have the time i used to have in early years so i'm sure i won't put my hands in any of these songs, sorry. unless it interests me a lot. but from what i'm seeing here, it's not the case.

Another good reason to tab out things for yourself that these clowns won't tell you is that 99% of all tabs on IM completely blow. The other 1% were transcribed from the band scores, although even those transcriptions usually blow.

umm.. Blank, your logic is fucked. If it's a legitimate request then that tab/post/topic deserves it's own thread, not to be mixed into a thread with various other tabs and lost in the shuffle so people can't find what they're looking for. All you are trying to achieve here is confusion.

The system we have already is working out just fine. People can find what they're looking for easily.
