Option 1) Purchase the MY FOOT bandscore from www.hmv.co.jp here: http://www.hmv.co.jp/product/detail/1287636 Option 2) Take it slowly, and sound it out one note at a time. Training your ear to do this is a valuable skill -- it's nice to not have to rely on tabs for the simpler songs. This involves: -Making sure your guitar is tuned well. -Listening to a few notes at a time, and figuring out how to play those notes on the guitar. -For Gazelle City, I'm pretty sure Manabe and Sawao's lead (for the riffs) occurs just on frets 1-4. -Remember the open strings. Rather than stretching to hit a note on another string, see if the open E, A, D, G, B, e have what you're looking for. -Keep in mind that all of the notes are there on your guitar. If what you're playing doesn't sound just like Manabe/Sawao, then try a different note. And report back on how that goes, if you please. ![]() Oh, and also:
thanks i knew it was something like that
Did you find out that there was a G at the end of the chorus? ![]() |

Manabe's lead during the verse is up on the 7th fret and higher. Buy the band score or figure it out. ![]() |

Buy the band score or figure it out. ![]() ![]() And we were actually talking about the chorus, but Manabe plays the verse on the 7th fret and higher? It's much easier to play around the 2nd and 4th IMO. Have you seen him play it live? |
