Err..sounds like he's doing an octave-thing right? G-string's 5, and the d-string's 2. That makes it pretty annoying.

Exactly what I was thinking when I first heard it. I like Hybrid Rainbow's fanning a bit better though.

...Is that what you call that technique? "fanning"?

I don't even know in Portuguese. In English it might be like... 'lightspeedhiting'

I'd stick with Fanning. Lightspeedhitting sounds a little...weird. Fanning is easier to remember anyways.

aww thanks, i'm still new to tabbing and guitar...

you did the hard part of it...i just added on <.< >.>

i dunno why but i think its almost 2x as fast as hybrid rainbow tremelo....to my ears, sounds like thirty-second notes, and hybrid just sixteenths

Yeah, it does sound a lot faster than Hybrid Rainbow. You're probably right abut the 30's, but it might be a pedal or something.

I think the solo is a lot easier if you start like this
G 9-10-11-12
D x--x--x--x
A 7--8--9-10
because then you can just move over to the B string, rather than have to slide all the way up...also, when I try to fret the barre chords that low on the B string, I have trouble not bridging the e string.
