I dont think the acoustic guitar parts sound the same at all. In Ressa Hamusuta no Yuu-utsu it seems to be more in the background and not very noticeable where in beautiful picuture it really stands out in the beginning and throughout the song since it is higher pitched.
I think both songs have a similar 'emotion' to them (although Hamusuta is a little softer) , and I think both are amazing songs so it doesn't matter if they are similar in guitar or not.

I really love the drums in Beautiful picture personally.
And the kickass solo.
And the bass.

Beautiful Picture has always been one of my favorite tunes. I made a few corrections to that old tab of mine linked to on the first page, most notably the third guitar that runs in the last few measures of the intro. Also, I haven't changed the solo yet, but I know it is probably off since I originally tabbed it with an acoustic guitar.
