Entering one of the lotteries will require: some knowledge of Japanese to be able to navigate the site and an address in Japan. If you pay by credit or debit card, make sure that your issuing bank authorizes you to make overseas transactions, otherwise your payment will be blocked. If you don't have access to a Japanese address (I.e. someone to help you), you can try using a proxy service.
[b]Note about tickets:[/b] In most venues in Japan, tickets are numbered and you enter the venue depending on your ticket number. Pre-sale tickets will have lower numbers, therefore giving you a chance to enter the venue sooner and getting a closer position (for standing section). This is one of the reasons why it is better to try and get tickets as soon as possible.
Oh yeah, and just to make sure no one is confused... the ticket lottery is for a chance to [i]purchase[/i] tickets. It's not for "winning" tickets. Of course, you will still need to pay the 6,000 yen if you are chosen from the lottery pool.
