The 30th anniversary is now less than six months away. The official site has a countdown. Now is the time to get serious about travel plans for the 30th anniversary concert. ![]() The place:Yokohama Arena The time: October 17th 2019. Venue opens at 6PM and performance starts at 7PM. Ticket: Advance ticket 6,000円. Door ticket 6,500円. General sales start on July 28th X General pre-sale ticket lottery from 4/22 until May 8-12th. (ENDED) X Fanclub ticket lottery from 4/2 to 4/15. Results announced on 4/19. (ENDED) Fan meet up?: Let's do this The general pre-sale ticket lottery has ended. Starts 4/22 (Tuesday) ■ Pia (until 5/9 11:00) (Expired) https://w.pia.jp/t/pillows-30th/ ■ Lawson Ticket (until 5/9 23:59) (Expired) https://l-tike.com/pillows ■ Eplus (until 5/9 23:59) (Expired) https://eplus.jp/pillows1017/ ■ Rakuten Ticket (until 5/12 23:59) (Expired) http://r-t.jp/pillows ■ Disk Garage (until 5/8 23:59) (Expired) https://www.diskgarage.com/ticket/detail/no080699 Entering one of the lotteries will require: some knowledge of Japanese to be able to navigate the site and an address in Japan. If you pay by credit or debit card, make sure that your issuing bank authorizes you to make overseas transactions, otherwise your payment will be blocked. If you don't have access to a Japanese address (I.e. someone to help you), you can try using a proxy service. Note about tickets: In most venues in Japan, tickets are numbered and you enter the venue depending on your ticket number. Pre-sale tickets will have lower numbers, therefore giving you a chance to enter the venue sooner and getting a closer position (for standing section). This is one of the reasons why it is better to try and get tickets as soon as possible. Oh yeah, and just to make sure no one is confused... the ticket lottery is for a chance to purchase tickets. It's not for "winning" tickets. Of course, you will still need to pay the 6,000 yen if you are chosen from the lottery pool. (More to come as information is released.) |

I'm trying my hardest to be there. I have no idea the feasibility of tickets to an actual show, that's the dream, but even if I can just hang outside the concert hall and snag the merch, I'm 100% dedicated to the effort. |

Bucket list item right here! I'm planning on doing everything in my power to make it there. My current plan is to secure my airline tickets after tax season at the start of the year and spend the rest of the year working like a madman. Show or no show, I'm going to Japan that time of the year anyway to supplement my language learning; so hopefully it'll work out. It's really all going to come down to whether or not I'll be able to secure tickets to the actual show. Any recommendations on ticket proxy services?? I'm assuming that's going to be the only route to purchase them as a foreigner (that, or knowing someone on the inside). |

Nice to see you here again, I think I met you at the Portland show this summer. Like you, I'm hoping to get there regardless of whether I can secure tickets or not (although I really hope to be able to do that). Even if some of us can't get into the show for whatever reason it would just be the best to have a big get together of busters. ![]() |

I'm starting to seriously consider a trip to Japan for the 30th anniversary, but I haven't finalized or committed to anything yet. To be completely transparent, I'm not entirely sure that I'll be able to attend the actual anniversary concert (for instance, I was thinking about making a pilgrimage up north to Hokkaido to experience the original context of the pillows' inception). That said, I'm interested, and I'll be keeping tabs on the details of acquiring tickets. Either way, hoping to make this dream into a reality! 君の夢が叶うのは誰かのおかげじゃないぜ! ![]() ![]() |

Figured I might as well check and see who all was planning on going, cause I knew there'd be at least a couple people who were serious about getting there. I'm basically planning on visiting in October regardless, so if I can end up getting tickets, then it'll be the icing on the cake. Fingers crossed on that front. The Portland show was amazing, but I'm dying to see them bust out some oldies. |

The first round of tickets, the fanclub lottery, starts on April 2nd. I doubt that anyone else here is a member, so I’ll only make a guide on how to apply if requested. |
