Hapay 916 Busters
I'm not around here too often anymore, but on a day like today you can't forget where you came from ;P Busters unite!
How are you celebrating this great day? I listed to the entirety of Runners High on my way to work, the first album I ever physically bought from them. It has a great nostalgia effect for me. On my way home it'll be PML in its entirety because it's probably my favorite. And then the pillows on shuffle all night.
Any new news or updates from the band regarding their anniversary?

I will be listening to all sorts of pillows today! I was already leading up to today. But today is pillows day through-and-through.

Re: Hapay 916 Busters
This 916 was really exciting for me. I was lucky enough to snap up a rare Stroll and Roll promo CD on ebay, not to mention i had 'shuffle the pillows' on in my ear all day. Even more excitement to come as the new FLCL music anticipation grows

Been listening to various albums throughout the day. Took the day off and spent it with the wife, had milkshakes, took a walk. Pretty goddamn good day. Happy 916, you beautiful busters, you.

Re: Hapay 916 Busters
I wore my pillows shirt and little buster-kun bracelet, and played a mix of songs that I hadn't listened to for a long time. Crazy Sunshine sounds soooo good after a break from it. I swear there isn't another band whose songs can move me like the pillows' do. They're all too beautiful

I didn't know it was 9/16 until like 5 PM at one of my work places. There needs to be a pillows song about a foot soaking tub. Happy 9/16!

Re: Hapay 916 Busters
Apple pipe smoking is mandatory when celebrating pillows day, in my books.

Happy (belated) 9/16. <3
I got distracted since I went to a friend's house that day... but I did remember earlier in the day. >.<

Re: Hapay 916 Busters
I celebrated by listening to various albums and roaming the streets in Chiba. A couple days prior, my wife and I created Frankenbuster together. Not many updates from the band regarding the 27th anniversary, since they only go all out every 5 years. But I'm already looking forward to the 30th anniversary meet-up.

Re: Hapay 916 Busters
Considering how every anniversary celebration has been bigger than the last one, I can only imagine the 30th is going to be unbelievably huge.
Wow, that Frankenbuster is so cool! Is it made from polymer clay? I love it!
Thanks, yaro! And yes, it is polymer clay! We bought a bunch of it because we thought it would be fun to make our own Halloween decorations, but creating a Busterkun is something I have wanted to do for a long time. His body became a bit pudgy because the clay didn't dry as quickly as we anticipated and the head kind of squished the body down a bit, but I think it makes him look cute. It was just our first attempt at a Busterkun, at least.
