A new CM has been released featuring a new song called "BE WILD".

Short version of the CM:

Long version:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12NwAiEElPE

The song was written to support wrestler Eri Tosaka, who won the gold medal in the women's freestyle 48 kg event at the Rio Olympic Games. Eri Tosaka herself is a fan of the pillows. She revealed that her "fight song" was Funny Bunny, and that she enjoys singing their songs at karaoke.
A special site for the commercial has also been released, which includes a small profile for the pillows.

Let's hope that a full version gets a digital release soon or somethin'!

Two months go by and we still don't have any updates here.
Me want new plows. Always want new plows.

Yeah, hoping there's a fall or winter single release to tide us over or something...but it'd have to be a surprise single at this point, basically, right? :(

I mean I guess so.
It's been like 2 months since we've heard anything about it.
I mean it theoretically COULD be a digital release (low budget?)

Wait and see.

Hmm...could be we're just gonna wait 'til the album gets closer...which might be the middle or late next year?

I kind of thought a digital release would happen soon, so that it would be able to ride the gold medal hype. Since the Stroll and Roll DVD mentioned a 2 piece coupon campaign with a planned album in Spring, I doubt that we will see a release of a physical single before the next album. So if this is released before the album, it's likely to be a digital single.

Woah! In the spring? (This is the first I'm hearing of this release date, so I'm psyched!!)

I suppose if "Be Wild" drops as a digital single, it'll be happen fairly randomly. And it certainly is surprising that they didn't release it closer to the end of the Olympics.

If "Be Wild" is gonna be on the next album, it could come out as a digital single fairly close to the album release just like "Cuckoo" did a couple months before Stroll and Roll. Then again, The Pillows have put out singles like "Ladybird girl", "Movement", and "Happy Birthday" well before albums, so the past isn't really any reliable indication.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that the new song they have been performing isn't Be Wild. So, that's another candidate for a digital single.
