Not many "iconic" trees in any one city, so it most certainly could be the PML one! Great find, Crescent!

At any rate, seems like a pretty majestic tree, out under the open sky, alone in the middle of a beautiful field. Shame about cutting it down, but the reasons for doing so are valid.
