 What's happening in pillows land? It's cyclical, I'm falling in love with the pillows all over again, but I feel out of the loop. Any news? I know Jun got canned, but any releases besides the new DVD coming up? Any tour info? Are they ever coming back to the US?

Re: What's happening in pillows land? DVD's already out, Sawao's busy doing some Predators stuff, and the pillows are doing a Japan tour later in the year. I expect we'll see a new single early/mid next year, hopefully along with an announcement regarding a permanent bassist (and please God maybe also a US tour  ).

I mean, I also just really wanna know what *else* Manabe is doing with his guitar, you know? What kinds of music is he listening to, what is he influenced by today? What does he jam to in his free time? I mean, I guess we sort of have an answer with Rutile (eesh)... But still. That's actually an interesting question I'd like to hear peoples' thoughts on: what bands do you think are influencing the music the pillows are making *today*/the last five years? What does this modern/recent pillows music sound like? Any reference to "originality" I will interpret as a cop-out
