Do you have to sign up for anything to watch it? I'm totally unfamiliar with nicovideo.

You'll need to sign-up for an account at nicovideo. Then just login at the page that Mafu posted, to watch the performance.

Though I guess if you're a free member, you won't be able to watch the encore.

Yeah, as a free member you can watch the stream live as it happens. Paying members are able to watch the recorded broadcast after it airs.

Ah, I think I'm going to be out of town that weekend. Would someone mind recording it, at least the audio? The setlists have been a pretty decent mix on this tour. They've been short, but still pretty good. They played Skeleton Liar on the June 25th concert, and I'm really hoping to finally get a good quality rip of About a Rock'n'Roll Band. So a recording would be much appreciated!

I always try to record the streams, but I have a pretty crappy success rate. I'll give it a go, but I can't guarantee it will work. Hopefully others will try to record it as well.

Of course, that's assuming I don't forget about it. SATURDAY MORNING! I have to burn that date into my brain.

There's a program for Windows called HiDownload that can save lots of tricky streams. It might work. I'll probably experiment with it soon.

And then if someone has a paid membership, it could be downloaded after they put up the recording. I've downloaded videos from the site before.

I use a stream recorder called Replay Media Catcher. I was experimenting with it on a live Niconico stream last night, and it didn't go well at all. The stream would immediately stop recording and I would get a message saying that I could only watch the stream in one browser window (or something like that).
A worse case scenario method of recording it is using a screen recorder. Given the current state of my PC (she's gonna blow, cap'n), a recording using a screen capture program would result in a very sluggish video. I don't want to try it, honestly.
I'll give the program you mentioned a spin.

An audio recording could be good too. Maybe I'll see if I can set everything up so my wife can just hit a couple buttons and record it... but chances of her understanding that are slim, so this is probably on you guys
