I was just wondering since at the very least I'm going to get a passport, and attempt to buy a ticket whenever it may be announced for their 25th anniversary, if anyone has bought ticket for one of their shows in Japan before you made your trip over there, and what's the best way to go about it? (Super long run on sentence sorry)

If I remember right, Brye and/or Tidus went for the 20th, and they may have had a contact over there buy the tickets for them.

There's also Yahoo Japan auctions or similar sites for buying off the secondary market. Not ideal since you'd likely pay a markup and you're not guaranteed a ticket, but it's an option. I think you would have to make a special arrangement with the seller since it's not set up to handle international buyers; or use a proxy service.

I guess I'll try shoppingmall japan again once there's info about a 916 show.

Best way is to have a contact in Japan, by far. If you have someone that can get one for you and hold it, you're all set.

Maybe, I added the bassist from the cover band Men's Pallows on facebook and he speaks English pretty good. He went to the first movement show, lucky.

Yeah dude, best way is to have a contact in Japan. I remember going on the pillows official fansite and begging for help from any busters in Japan. And a really nice girl (Hitomi) emailed me back and we exchanged emails over the course of 3 or 4 months cause she was uncertain if I would even show up. I told her I got my ticket to Japan and that it would happen and the rest is history.

Nice! How much was the ticket by the way? I'm gonna guess its a seated one since only fans from their official site get to stand

I dunno, the show I plan on going to is October 4th and there's no more info other than it's at Tokyo dome. The "916" show, even though it's not really. lol...

Yeah I thought it was strange that the anniversary show isn't in September. If I can't get hands on a ticket myself I'll definitely hit you up.

I'm sure somebody fucked up on the booking side of things... Which is probably why the show ended up being in October.

The opening and closing times/place to buy aren't even posted on the pillows' website yet.

Brye and I are for sure. I'm actually gonna meet up with him in San Francisco and hang out there before we head over to the holy land for a week. I don't think I've ever looked forward to a trip as much as this! :shred:
