If were lucky (if you live in the USA) they'll have another tour here (doubtful though) before their 25th anniversary next year. |

Sadly.[/quote] No doubt the pillows have an amazing release record, as you said, (practically) at least one album per year, some years more. That's much more than any other band I listen to, I've waited 3-5 years between releases. But it's like when you get used to something you start to rely on it and don't realize you need it until it's gone and you miss it...now that it's been more than a year, it's like "Where's a new release?"  As Spike said, last winter looking ahead, I was hoping maybe to see them in the Fall though that's doubtful. |

It's a break man. When a band that usually releases an album a year doesn't release an album after a year, they're taking a break. They've only taken a few throughout their entire career. I hope they wait a bit longer, honestly. |

Meh. I'm in no hurry. Trial was pretty good, so I say give 'em as long as they need. Unless you want their 25th anniversary to be marred by they release of "OOPARTS II: Revenge of the Revenge". lol I wonder what they have planned for their 25th. There will probably be some retrospective stuff, but hopefully they don't just re-record old songs or release another greatest hits. A documentary maybe? Some unreleased content from decades prior? Some footage or recordings from old shows? Those would all be pretty cool, methinks. |

Imagine their 25th year anniversary was they just calling it quits? The last and final thing they'll release is a disco graphy of their greatest albums. By that i mean their recent ones. Sad sad sad I use to be a huge pillows fan. I still go back to them, but their new stuff just never clicked with me. Maybe I outgrew them? I mean, there are some bands that I outgrow. But some that even up to their recent stuff I'm still devoted to them. So i don't know. |

I loved Trial. I'm still awaiting the bandscore that never came. Even though I have almost the whole album tabbed already  I look forward to their next release. For their 25th anni I would love another WOTS type documentary. I love that shit. |

They took an official break as of some ways back there, but they have a couple shows lined up right now, so I would guess we can expect the next single at the end of this year or early next year sometime. |
