Which song off the solo album is this? XD Did they have samples for all of them? I was about to post about this... You beat me...  Looks like it's not the whole song either since it cuts off...Edit: Okay, it's "HEVEN'S PINHOLE." |

Just saw an email that this was uploaded when I got up this morning, new track sounds great. This should be his best solo album yet. The PV description actually says that while his previous solo albums were more side projects, this time Sawao tried to write a solo album more seriously. Makes sense, since previous solo releases were always in the midst of pillows releases; this time the band is taking a break, so he's been able to put a bit more effort into these tracks. |

Pretty good song. The chorus bores me to tears though. I wonder how Sawao got J.J. Abrams to direct this PV. |

Pretty awesome track. I'm not a fan of the Nintendo 64 renders that they seem to have in all of their PVs nowadays. Also, is the letterbox supposed to be moving? It kind of makes it feel like one of those videos that someone recorded off TV with their camera. But cheap PV aside, I'm diggin' this track. My anticipation for the new album have been cranked up a few notches.

Pretty cool. As usual, the chorus works, but feels a little too... "Hey guys, I'm Sawao!" But it's a nice song. |

Still don't understand why we can't get the entire PV. Anyways, it's not too bad. But still, I don't understand why Sawao even bothers putting out solo albums at this point. He's not doing ANYTHING stylistically different from the pillows, if anything, all the material from these three solo albums have been sub par or at the same level of everything since Pied Piper. i just don't get what Sawao is gaining from this. Just concentrate on the pillows, especialy if you're going to not do anything different. |

It's.... a song, I guess. The verse is basically "Creep" by Radiohead, and by that I mean to say it's an extremely overt and uninteresting way of using a generic progression that's been in thousands of other songs. And by that I mean to say I already knew how the rest of the song was going to go by the time I had reached the 30 second point.
