I'm always optimistic, as everyone else is. But I'm still scarred by the big steaming pile of Engrish that Sawao shat all over Kashima and most of the other would-be high points of Tedious Man

Man. I still don't understand why this is separate from the pillows. It's in Japanese. It sounds very pillows like... It looks like its Jun and Satou in the PV (is that Satou?). Edit: Actually, that guy looks a little lean. Hm. |

Meehhh. I'm reticent to judge a song based solely on a 15-second clip, but if that little bit of the chorus is any indication of what the rest of the song will be like, I can't say I'm interested. It sounds like a generic, typical Sawao chorus-- I heard it and instantly felt: "Oh, wait! Don't tell me what it's called! I've heard this one!" To me, it sounded a lot like Tenshi Mitai ni Kimi wa Tatteta off of Good Dreams. And that's not a compliment. It sounds like a boring, poppy-power-chord-y, "Hey, remember how cool Kono Yo no Hatemade was?" type song. My opinion, of course. Perhaps I'm way off and this song (and album) will blow my ass off. |

Personally, I much prefer Tenshi Mitai Ni to Kono Yo No. I know that's not your point, but I'm throwing that out there. |

It's weird, I didn't like Good Dreams very much at the time, but it looks better and better in retrospect. |
