Post subject:  "Project Write a Pillows Song" (parody)

As discussed and proposed in the "overrated songs" thread:
We should tally up how many times the pillows use the words/phrases "yakusoku," "namida," "hitori ja nai," "itsu made mo," "zutto," and "hikari." (feel free to add more)

Or how many times they reference sharing an umbrella! I know this is somewhat common love song imagery but come on. I can name at least Girlfriend and Patricia off the top of my head...

I like Disco's idea. We should cook up a fake Pillows song with as many stock phrases as possible.
Oh reah?
Roh ress.

ずっと、一人じゃない。約束だ。OH REAH.
Themes to consider:
*The sun and/or moon
*vintage rock instruments
*Charlie Chaplin
*animals
*white women
*night time
*God

Basically we need people to write lyrics and people to write music. We can do this. Res we can.

Great timing! :o lol, I've been trying to think up lyrics for this pipe is mine and so am I since it has been a reccuring joke. I'm not going for too hokey jokey, mostly an earnest, sawaoese rocker.

It's not finished but I'll put up the wip.

This pipe is mine (and so am I)

Verse 1

many ones are surfing tired waves
always sad secrets, underground
read and hear of only bad news
wishing to help them dig the sky
comfort good neighbors, lean ahead
tell best story at the market
you have yet to take medicine
do you know my drug?

Chorus

this is my world
vivid my dreams flashing brightly!
this pipe is mine (and so am I)
not a product but a factory!
this pipe is mine

Verse 2

the stone has skip for many times
refuse to the sinking, precious stone!
dazzling the fish who live below
the bird can hear its baby's cry
excite to the hatching, noisy child!
not yet knowing of good manners
do you know my drug?
I'll show you where it grows

Someone already did something like that before.

Yes We Can.

In fact that's not even close to what I was thinking. That's more of a mashup; this will be a flat-out parody.

Btw I like all the ideas posted so far.

Seriously that's perfect

ずっとキミと二人 or ずっとキミと一緒に work just as well, too.

Yeah I was going to say, maybe futari would be better since that's what Sawao says more often.

I was thinking more that it's rare for him to break it up quite the way I did, as far as I can recall. He definitely loves saying "kimi to futari" though lol.

Mare let's just go all the way and make it ずっとキミと二人さ
Sawao loves his さ...

^good call. Can that be the chorus plox? We should actually go all out and write this thing not just in words, but make a whole song.
