(I didn't want to put pics since it would be confused with pictures, and picks would be confused too...)

Anyway, basically I'm desperate after a 3rd failed attempt for one of Manabe's (or Sawao's, I don't know if he ever throws them) picks. I remember the Ladybird Girl single had one enclosed in the special edish (was that designated or did people just order it and get wonderfully surprised?). Any chance of that happening again? Or anyone want to sell me one (even though I know that's basically a commodity rarer than gold around here, but it's worth a try :shred: )

Try writing Manabe. He is not exactly stingy when it comes to the distribution of plectra.

It was announced ahead of time which pick came with the single based on which store you ordered it from. I don't think it'd be worth spending money on getting one if the pillows are coming back again (which they surely are). Next time, just ask Manabe politely for one as you get your shit signed and you should get one unless he's run out. He knows people love getting them and tries to give out a ton as a result.

I got one before the show from... Craig I believe? After he went in with the pillows he came back out a while later and talked to some people and line and randomly handed me one... I got there early and I was wandering around the bar and he stopped me and asked if I was a pillows fan... I got some thrown right next to me during the show but missed them... bleh (I said and almost as many times as Sawao says "Oh Yeah" in that comment) :dead:

Tell Manabe you're from the Caribbean

Not planning on doing it, but I just found this and thought I'd share...
30 picks for about 35 dollars plus celga fees and all.

Heh, that's the only way I'd play guitar with one of "Manabe's" picks... I played with the one I got like once then stashed it away... XD

That's a cool link. I have my Manabe pick from the Ladybird Girl single.

Used it once, for a high school battle of the bands with Orochi and a few other people (my first performance in front of people). We won that battle of the bands. Put it back in the plastic sleeve, smudged from skin oil and sweat. Haven't taken it out since.

No, it's not like it's a pick Manabe tossed to me personally after I got invited to play Razorlike Blue with them on stage with Manabe's Sago at the Shibuya-AX, but it's still pretty neat nonetheless.
