Not entirely sure what it is (internet connection is godawful slow right now so I don't have the patience to research further) but Manabe is involved.

I tried to get one of those on e-bay a while ago... Had to settle for the U.S. version though lol... It kept going up too high...

What exactly were you looking at? The russian models are cheaper than the USA muffs, atleast the version that Manabe uses.

The Russian Big Muffs have been discontinued since 2009, so their price keeps going up in the used market.

Bebop the Bass Big Muff is based off of the Russian's circuit, check it out if you can't get a hold of a Russian model.

I'll admit I bought mine a few years ago and haven't kept up with what they're going for, but i'm suprised they shot up that much in value.
The USA models sound a bit harsh to me, but they've always been more popular. Lack of a 9v DC jack on the russian muffs, etc.

edit: Christ, 100$+ on the used market? They really have gone up.

Yeah its horrible, I was very fortunate to get mine together with a boost pedal for a really good price.
Check out this jerk.

Damn. I might need to look into selling mine. I could sell it to someone here that wanted it for cheap, but I'm a fucking college student lol. Manabe's video was pretty damn cool. Potentially amazing song. The music that played while Manabe wasn't was atrocious though haha.

What, the music that plays on all the clips? What's wrong with it? :dizzy:

If I don't have the money (probably if I don't get a job in time, just had an interview though) I'll be selling my guitar/amp/big muff... :dead: Probably at a used music store since the only other place I sell stuff is CL and that could take a while... This is all referring to being able to go to the pillows concert, since there's plenty of time to buy new equipment, but who knows when they'll come back to Texas again... Though I could get a cheap ass bus/train ticket possibly, then walk 1-10 miles (from what I've checked on google maps.) :whoa:
