Haha, this year was shitty. But at least the end wasn't bitter. :groovin:

Actaully, i'd probably swap out Movement for Dawn Speech. That collaboration was quite good.

So Dawn Speech, Gloomy Night, and Split Emotion.

I'll be damned if no one else says Purple Moonlight is the best thing Sawao touched this year.

Discharge was somewhat a surprise for me. Even though it was kinda bittersweet -I liked how it turned out.
Dawn Speech, Purple Moonlight, Movement

Hell yes. That song is too catchy. And the whistling - genius.

I like Dawn Speech and Purple Moonlight a lot.

Hm. The Movement single is great, but considering those two songs now one of the b-sides might have to swap places.

Either way, those five tracks are the cream for sure.

It's been ages since I listened to "Discharge"

Dawn Speech. Then any two songs off the new single, I guess. Pretty lackluster year, even for the pillows. :X I guess that's just a matter of timing, though, since the new album is out this month.

I'm surprised to see people choosing Dawn Speech. It's definitely my number one but somehow I got the impression that IM had mostly given it a thumbs-down.

I really dig Dawn Speech musically, but love the lyrics to the chorus of Deep Story. So that, Gloomy Night, and Movement, not in any particular order. Split Emotion was great, but I like the lyrical parts of Movement better and Gloomy Night has DAT INTERVAL in the chorus at "nemurenaiiii ndaaaaaaaaa" that just rocks my face.

Just listened to it. I guess now we know why Manabe does all the solos.
