9/16
So, it's about that time of year, but I don't seem to be hearing any radio chatter concerning any developments on the matter.

Re: 9/16
The facebook page has been posting images from the studio. I'm not sure if they're new, but yeah.

Re: 9/16
It's nice to know they're recording stuff, but that tells us nothing about their plans or lack thereof in regards to their anniversary.

Nothing on the live section of their website. They have , a tour that starts on the 27th "born in the 60s" tour.
Looks like they're spending the bands birthday relaxing. Unless they're still in the studio two weeks from now.

Re: 9/16
Spending the anniversary relaxing would not be a bad thing. They kind of need a break anyways.

Re: 9/16
Well, this year isn't a nice round anniversary number, so I wouldn't expect a whole lot of exciting stuff going on.

Re: 9/16
It seems like for the last as many years as I've been paying attention, they've played a show on 916, so suddenly not having one is a bit surprising, though them not doing anything huge is not.

Re: 9/16
That's a little too tenuous to say with any certainty - or even to say at all. The phrase "born in the XXs" has probably existed as long as decades have been identified in such a manner. Furthermore, the Police song is not even a single or otherwise particularly notable. Then again, no one can say with any certainty that this is not such a reference - I just wouldn't count on it. I'm also not sure if I've heard that the pillows were influenced by the Police.

Re: 9/16
Born in the 60's I can picture it having something to do with the beatles. Weren't they most active during the 60's? Maybe some psychedelic work coming soon?

Re: 9/16
Surprisingly, I believe it has a little something to do with the age of the various musicians involved in the tour, and that alone, with probably little or no actual reference to anything.
Sawao was born during the 60's? He must be over 50 by now.
Even if he was born in 1960, the oldest he could possibly be by now is 50. He was born in 68, I think.

Too bad that computer dictionary doesn't come with a calculator - you may want to think about buying one for your computer.
