Post subject:  Top 10 pillows songs 2000-2009
There seems to be a general trend that the people of IM love the older and "middle" pillows stuff,
and are not disliking their newer stuff. There's already been a thread about the top 10 pillows songs of the '90s, and considering the top 10 of their whole discography is mostly fulled with pre-2000 pillows, I'd like to see, which of the "newer songs" are favourites. I'm curious how many MyFoot, Wake up!, Pied Piper and Ooparts :X are in it. (The list may contain AMAP, and singles (Over Amp!). . . all their stuff, except Turn Back I guess)

So what are your 10 favourite pillows tracks from 2000-2009?

I just went down the albums year by year, for the most part. I mixed it up a bit toward the end. And I don't think I could get through this list without any tracks from Good Dreams. I love that album.

Huh, I thought OVER AMP was a cover or something. I found an mp3 of the song by some band like "MuMu" on a Delicious Label CD or something. I could be wrong-- the pillows is weak in me.

Over Amp was composed by Sawao for Mumu, and then the pillows "covered" it. So it's Sawao's song, basically. Or at least, that's how I remember it. :?

Beehive was composed by Sawao for Chihiro Yonekura, and then the pillows "covered" it. So it's Sawao's song, basically. Or at least, that's how I remember it.

+ What have I done? I mean, it's not hard to find 10 good songs or 20 good songs, even 30 very nice songs from the pillows post-1999. But only 10 songs?! :dizzy: I only know Sono Mirai Wa Ima and Shiroi Natsu for sure.

2. Sono Mirai Wa Ima---pure rocking air guitar
3. Scarecrow-------------dramatic/serious one
4. Gazelle City-----------easylistening, one of the very first pillows song for me
5. Skim Heaven---------Sawao's voice fits perfect, silly ambience, creative use bass
6. Moon Marguerite-----ai wo moto! , typicall ubeat feel-good pillowness
7. Subhuman-----------Sawaoish English + great mood sketch
8. Chelsea Hotel--------just a nice acoustic song
9. Sonna Fuu Ni...------good example of the pillows' diversity.
10. Good Dreams--------powerfull, emotional voice
