So it looks like the pillows are trying to gauge interest in the American market: Questionnaire for the pillows! Hellow Busters! Here is a Questionnaire for you ! (for people living outside of Japan) Please answer it as comment 1) When you buy music, where do you buy it? On web site or stores?.... .... 2) If you answered ‘stores’ on Q1, with which store you buy at?.... .... 3) Do you know any music store that sells Japanese music or animation related artists? .... .... 4) Please advise if there are any stores that you wish the pillows’ CD to be sold?.... .... 5) If you have a choice, do you buy CDs that are sold in Japan? Or arranged to fit your language? .... .... 6) How much is ideal CD price to buy the pillows? .... Thank you ! We'll see. I hope fuckers don't swarm them with requests for English-version albums. Or even if they do, the pillows disregard it. |

What I think would be a good idea, for all countries, would be some reissues in the form of deluxe versions. I don't know if that format is very populr in Japan or not, but so many bands in the US and the UK do that after said album has been out for a while, and they usually ahve plenty of outtakes and goodies. Since I already own half their albums, it'd be incentive for me to buy them again if they decided to reissue them here. I know it's a hell of a longshot, but I figured I'd throw the idea out there. And Ladybirdgirl: does this have to do directly with your and Avex's new marketing campaign? |

Deluxe editions with bonus tracks that got cut would be AWESOME. Also, I answered the survey the day they posted it. |

Not sure, but some people on that questionnaire had said they'd love English-language albums, which would be a terrible idea imo. That's why I mentioned it. |

I doubt that a band would divert their creative process to cater to a foreign market. The most I can see them doing is translating the songs in the liner notes, which would not only be welcome, but may even influence me to purchase their albums (despite the fact that the translations will inevitably be a shitfest of terrible). |
