So I gave my mom a few things to pick up from Amazon Japan fir christmas for me since she asked. My 60 dollar order jumped to over 100 bucks after shipping...

I try HMV and the two items I want are "for order, usually sent in 7-15 days". :(

I've been through most of the links listed on pirouzu....anyone know where I can get the Pied Piper bandscore and the Snowkel Snorkel bandscore?

CDJapan. That's all I've used since I got My Foot from Amazon. It arrived a full two and a half weeks later than the date on the order.

If you can find the stuff in stock on the usual suspects (cdjapan.co.jp, otaku.com, hmv.co.jp, etc) then go for it, the most important thing is to shop around for the best price. :shred:

CDjapan it good but they sent my items or the cases broken. It happened with both of the cd's I purchased from them. Wake up and the white summer single. I kinda felt sad that it did. :( There was even a little note inside that said any type of damage is not there responsibility.

I've never had a problem with CDJapan or Amazon.jp. I have gotten special pillows posters a couple times from CDJapan; I don't know if Amazon.jp has ever given those out since I haven't gotten a new release through them.

I find it rediculous that amazon jp charges 2000 yen just for shipping a book to North America. Thats generally half the pice of the book! More in some cases.

If you're only in it for the pictures, save your cash, but if you can read the articles it's really tight. I still hope to get around to translating those interviews eventually. :(
