 my new york photos Yeah, I know there's already several topics for pictures on the NY shows, but I already made a web gallery for mine and am just going to post the link for the whole thing:

These are the best ones out of the bunch, I'm actually using them for my new portfolio I plan on putting together sometime in the near future; hence the copyright stuff (because getting ripped off sucks)

I like the sort of blurry effect, but some are a little too blurry for me.

It's the camera's shutter speed set to a slow setting, it's more of a technique than effect.
The quality of the photos are pretty good.

Re: COOL!!! ^___^' Thanks, they could've been better but I was trying to enjoy my virginal Pillows show and be a photographer at the same time, haha. And yes, the "effect" as you call it was intentional, it helps to convey their energy they brought to the stage much better than a full-on flash exposure would, at least that's how I feel. I was in the balcony for the Knitting Factory so my flash was too far away to reach the stage, otherwise they would have turned out better. But I got there as the Noodles were finishing up and didn't want to fight my way to the front and risk getting my camera smashed in the crowd.

i can attest that it is really really hard to get good, interesting pictures and enjoy the show at the same time (and i'm not even a 'photographer' so to say, i just wanted good pics to take home). -___- you have to have your camera on the entire time to get lots of good photos (half of them are going to get thrown out- someone jostles you, someone gets out of frame, someone's hand gets in the way...).
