Not sure if this thread is allowed, but there's already one for the Seattle show and my justification for this is that there should be a thread for those of us going to the LA show for faster access to information pertaining to it.

So, who on here is officially going?

What are your expectations? Not just about the pillows but overall.

Have any of you seen noodles live or even heard their material?

Are you going to wear a lame name badge as the others have suggested?

Is anyone interested in a crude forum meet up near the venue?

I'm going :D

I haven't really listened to Noodles, and I don't think I'm going to wear a nametag.

01. I am.

02. Not much. A bunch of Wake up!x3/MY FOOT songs. maybe a few older ones. not sure about the El Rey, I've never been there. :dizzy:

03. I like noodles but I've never seen them live. I met them at the King King a few years back but the show was 21+. The last album I heard was Cover Me Shakespeare.

04. No.

1)maybe

2) Well I haven't been to a pillows concert. And reading about the last time they were in america most of the anime freaks with the ROSS and FLCL stuff~_~ haha i actually read on a forum when someone confirmed that there was going to the pillows were comming to america one of them said ' i better start on my haruko costume" i was disgusted :dizzy:

But i hope it's not like that. I really wanna hear some old stuff. Something like a romance :) She's my sister:) tiny boat :) my girl (fiction version) :)but alas ~_~ one can only dream.

3) i have not heard the noodles. haha I want to but i think they'll sound like puffi ami yumi :dizzy:

4) Wear a badge mmmmm I can maybe wear one :) Just incase Utsuseru wants to speak to me or something. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

1) I bought my friend and I tickets a week ago.

2)I'm expecting there to be a shift in the fanbase because it includes some noodles fans as well. But you can't avoid the FLCLers at ANY pillows concert. I'll just hope for the best.

3)Haven't seen them live but I've listened to their music. My like for them has dwindled considerably but I'm still hyped about seeing them live.

4) Naw man. I'll just be around. meeting up might sound like a good idea. I don't know if it worked out last time but it'd be fun to get together this time.

I'm going with a couple friends, and though I'm new to the forum, I'd be down for getting together at the venue with some fans from the site.

I'm expecting some of their new single stuff (Ladybird Girl And Hello! and Tokyo Bambi), and probably some of their last albums (Wake Upx3 and My Foot, like someone previously suggested), but I'd like to see some of their earlier stuff as well.

I haven't heard any of Noodles' music, so I'll probably be searching some of it out this weekend. I'd just like some sort of clue who they are if I'm going to see them live.

Name tags? Really?

1. I'm going. (DOKI DOKI SHIMASUYO!)
2. It's going to be amazing like last time. Probably less annoying fat guards at el rey, and just as many annoying otaku. HOPEFULLY they play stuff other than domestic stuff.
3.Never seen noodles live, know a descent amount of their music... (i'm hoping to go to the library tomorrow to DL a bunch of it --this cpu has gotten screwed quite a lot, hence library. yeah, i know it's weird)
4.wtf

ps: there is this one guy i keep seeing places... once at a japanese festival at a buddhist temple, once at anime expo last last year, once at the pillows show at the whiskey last year...
my point is he's cool. -____-;;; and we should be friends :P

I should clarify that I don't have a ticket yet. I suppose that I should get on this before some obese 13 year old dressed up as Haruko takes my spot.

I might be wondering around on my lonesome before the show, or I might be kicking back with Kimi (wired-musac) and her special guest. 8) 8) 8)

EDIT: Got my ticket.

For those of you not in the know (and I just found this out), you can purchase your ticket(s) at Macy*s. I'd call first to make sure they do sell them, but if you can get your ticket through them, you can avoid paying shipping costs to your house.

I just did will call. That way I get to keep a copy of the actual ticket, which is nice, but I don't have to pay the unholy shipping fees. WTF, $15 shipping for a piece of paper? That's crazy talk. I will have to wait in line though, but I'll probably be there at least an hour before hand anyways.

Pretty fancy, no?

Very fancy. But who's going to sit down and watch them? Where's the pit?

Oh yeah and tickets were freaking expensive. I bought two tickets, expecting $45, but it's fricken $60+! It's worth it though.

The chairs and tables in front of the stage looks like removable. Just hope for the best.

The picture is a bit misleading to me. The place looks small, but that's just the perspective. However, if the place is small, only thing I see being a space problem is the mixing booth.
