fuck the king king!! i arrive at 7:30 for a show i know won't sell out so i should be fine right? i don't get in till 8:30, just in time to see Manabe packing his gear up!
what kind of show actually starts on time?
why did the pillows only get like 4 songs when half the people came to see them?
And why did it take the goddamn them so long to let what couldn't have been more than 100 people in? there must have been at least 20-30 pillows fans who just got jipped. Me, i bought my t-shirt, got a refund for my ticket and left to drink my sorrows away. If i hadn't seen the pillows over New Years already i fear i would have killed somebody at the club.
Bah

Meh, at least you had a potential chance of getting in. I'm assuming the reason why they started so early is because the King King was on a strict time limit, remember that the pillows were only supposed to be playing for 30 minutes, starting at 8:00 PM. I was there, along with a few friends, at that time and the line was still pretty long.
The pillows played about six or seven songs from what I hear/remember. Did you see the bouncers and how well they were checking some of the IDs, espeically the guy with the glasses. I believe the bar owner said that a lot of people were calling complaining about the 21+ age limit, so naturally they would assume a lot of kids would try to pick up fake IDs. Which probably lead to it taking longer for people to get in, you must also add in the fact that there may have been equipment problems which stalled the process even longer.
On the bright side, however, judging from the reaction from the shows and the conversation my friends and I had with one guy who was talking with the pillows staff; a conversation in which the staff said Sawao said, "I like it here" they'll be back. Hopefully a longer tour with all ages shows.

Heck, about three days before the show I decided that I don't really care about the concert anymore, I just want a chance to meet them... I ate my words after being at the King King for a good hour. They're some really nice people, not pretencious at all and after being at the all ages shows, I think they thought signing the stuff for the people under 21 was the best thing they could do at that point.
Kick ass, I've always wanted an ounce on anthrax sitting on my front porch, that way I can sell it off on some illegal blackmart website.
