Dude...thank you for jacking Moletown for this.
I've been wanting to find out what PERSIA sounded like for a while.

[quote="CHEMICAL BUMP"]These are live clips from ペルシャ midnight live in Hokkaido. The audio sounds youtube from the original. But I figured I would make a post about it. Everyone should check them out if you like Manabe. PERSIA was really great. Wow, I like them. They're HARDLY hair metal. They kinda sound like The Cure. (or what I've heard so far)

Heh, I never thought anyone would find a live of this band. Perhaps a Kanojo wa Shisuta, Monochrome Lovers, or Girlfirend PV is coming next?
On a related note, Japanese fashions in the eighties and early nineties were really, really weird.

Hmm. Mostly run-of-the-mill new wave stuff. Manabe didn't really stand out as a guitarist. I did like Long Way From Home, that's about all that stood out to me.

Man, I always wanted to hear what persia was like, too. At first outsider kinda turned me off because of the vocals, but after seeing the other three they are pretty freakin awesome.
thanks again for jacking this

Man, that lead singer has some moves.
Anyways, Long Way from Home has really grown on me for some odd reason. I like it.
