 Pillows Appreciation Thread
All right, so we've got the underrated thread, but ..yeah, it's pretty much their entire discography, as it's been mentioned before.
The Pillows Appreciation Thread will be about listening to a song and describing some aspect of that song you really like, so that others may also enjoy said song. Please leave negative criticisms out of this thread.
It had been a while since I'd last listened to Juliet, and I've always liked the song, but today when it popped up on my list, I was just like, "Wow. " I really love this song; Sawao's vocals are really awesome and the harmony between the lead, bass, vocals, and rhythm guitar is just amazing. The chorus is really simple and catchy. "Juliiiieeet, don't cryyyyyyyy!" It's just plain awesome and I love the song.

I love the beginning parts of No Self Control. Sawao's voice is just awesome there. I first heard this song on the 15th anniversary concert because for some reason my entire runner's high album was being stupid and I really liked it.

Every single thing about Patricia. It's perfect.
The only thing near a complain that I have about that song is that it could use more bass, but hey, the Live Beat '97 version fills that gap.

Come on guys, describe tangible things. "It's perfect" is not an accurate description.
And yes, I went there.

Dude man, the tone of the guitars in both songs are so full of fucking win. They seriously need to revive the awesomeness in their upcoming work and stuff.

what about Smile? It's a long and interesting song. the chord progression in it is awesome. The transitions from the middle (high energy) to the next part (mellower, a little less energy) to the last part (mellow like the first part) are really smooth. Just a cool song in my opinion

I'm gonna randomly take this opportunity to say that all of the b-sides of both sono mirai wa ima and Terminal Heaven's Rock deserve mentioning. It's wonderful to imagine what it would be like if they made it on their respective albums instead of a few of the more forgettable songs. But, if I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Beehive. I just love the feel of the song as a whole. Sawao's vocals are great. It's kinda simple yet insanely catchy. And the solo...

Although I'm not that big of a fan of Reggae, I love this song and love the reggae touch.
Keeping it on the single...
