i was just on the pillows BBS and i found this:

Hi everyone? this is Seth from The Stereo Future. We are playing with the Pillows in Seattle next week. It is a rotten deal that people under 21 can't see the show. I know that the Pillows wanted the show to be open to fans of all ages? but unfortunately an all-ages venue wasn't available the night that they are going to be in town. So? next time for sure - keep letting The Pillows know that you want to see them over here in the US and I know they will come back and play for you all.

its ok mellie. there was no choice but to post something around the lines of what you posted on the subject matter. i realized my error of ways about complaining. while i am still outraged, i got over it and this message helped even more to ease the pain.

i wish much fun to those who see them. like terra. who is probably already in austin was we type our messages.

I'm going to see them at Pianos on sunday.. which is a 21+ show.

I called and asked, and if you are accompanied by an adult you are fine to get in. Hopefully this is correct. There were 16 tickets left when I bought mine.. Go for it, ladies and gentlemen.

The last time I called the Knitting Factory, they said they would have more info about play time, set list, etc., a week before the concert. I should probably give them a call. BTW, I'm gonna be mega pissed if they only play for 30 minutes for all the trouble I'm going through.

It looks like it's gonna be between 30-45 minutes. Why is shitty Male Room the headliner? I bet everyone walks out after the Pillows' set.

Here's what we should do: when the Pillows are "finished" with the set, we start screaming "WE WANT MORE! WE WANT MORE!" If Male Room comes out, we'll shout "WE WANT PILLOWS! BECAUSE YOU SUCK!" over and over again.

We'll have the Pillows play a three-hour set if we have to! :twisted:

Maybe I'm expecting too much here but would guys grow up. What do you expect? Male Room is a popular band in NY and it's good thing they are playing that night because it will expose more people to the pillows and probably bring more fans. 45 minutes is par for the course for a club gig. Christ you guys are paying what 10 bucks for a ticket? You get what you pay for. Stop complaining, don't go in there and embarass your selves by yelling PILLOWS PILLOWS and be grateful you are going to see them at all.

Seriously, be happy they are coming. And your paying like 8 bucks. It'll still be awesome. In that time they can like, play a whole album. But will they still like, say stuff in between songs, it would be cool if they did. But then i would wanna understand, cause then i could like, laugh at a joke while everyone is just sitting and staring.

EDIT: Also, Male Room isn't the main performance. It's deffinately the pillows. Look at the ticket, i mean really, it has pillows on top and bold, and the rest under it and little.
