 new song samples are up on the main site, short thirty second clips of scarecrow and the b-sides. i believe these are the same as the ones people were able to download to their cell phones from mu-mo or whatever.

Tsuyogari has been awesome since Mr. Children released it. The pillows' version sounds like it can be better. At this point, I love the pillows' version of tsuyogari its awesome.

I like the sound of the segment that BOYS BE LOCKSMITH goes into as it starts to fade out. Guess we'll soon see if these b-side measure up in any degree with the incredible backlog of singles past.

BOYS BE LOCK sounds like it has potential for greatness towards the end of the clip... And is it just me or has the quality in sound production gone up the roof.

i agree, it sounds like it'll be really good.
I think we can agree that the pillows do a pretty awesome job when they cover a song (except in the way of english pronunciation lol), so tsuyogari will be really good. and better than mr. children's version, since the pillows are better musicians, imo.

I don't understand how anything could be considered "better" than the original, because without the original, there would be no adaptations.

I think that the pillows will have the better version of tsuyogari but Mr. Children's is really good.

Quite easily; it could be played more skillfully, in a way that better elicits emotion, in a way that was received better by listeners, etc.
Saying that it's impossible to perform a piece better than the original performers is blatantly untrue and rather idiotic.
