Girls Don't Cry [b]is[/b] great, sheerheart.

It's easily got one of the best acoustic melodies that's only accentuated by/accentuates the electric guitar. Sawao's voice has a hypnotic quality of pure win, and Sato kicks ass for bringing it all together with his nice rhythm and non-overpowering drums.

It's not a ballad or an epic. It is what it is, and it's freaking awesome.

It stands out because it's so totally stylistically different from almost every other song they've ever done, in my opinion. It's their best (originally) acoustic song, and the melody is just great.

I always loved the simple melody.

The guitar line is perfect.

And, more importantly, Sawao sounds great on that track.

Yeah, it's awesome and unique, but the other songs on PML are just as (if not more) awesome and unique. That's all I'm saying. I love Girls don't cry, but I love swanky street and kanojo wa kyo a whole lot more.

That song took me a while to warm up to. It's a pretty simple song. I'm sure the lyrics are prolly makes the song better overall but I don't comprehend japanese at all. :(

Yeah, you tell him, Blank. Tell him his opinion is incorrect.

The whole deal with Girls Don't Cry (for me, atleast) is how warm Sawao's guitar sounds. It's just so soothing and mellow. Good song, but I prefer Trip Dancer, Kanojo wa Kyou, Swanky Street, Strange Chameleon, and Ice Pick (the acoustic version much more so) to it.
