Let's hope so. They need to be signed to someone like Gearhead, Matador, or Narnack (Guitar Wolf's US Label). At least they'll get some sort of promotional push from those labels.
Avex is listed under teardrop's label. That's Van Tomiko's (and DAI's) label. This could be good.

What exactly is the deal with Tearbridge? Don't really have the time to look around their site at the moment.
It looks like it's part of Avex (correction from checking around a few things: It [b]is[/b] an Avex sublabel). Seems like good news, then, since they're one of the most prominent labels in Japan (and makes the name of this topic pretty inaccurate :P ).
And please, please let this void whatever relationship they have with Geneon.

haha, yes. I was only half serious with the thread title, but now that I take a look, it seems Avex is indeed an independent label, albeit a big one.

Maybe they left because King Records was getting pushy with making power-pop.
If so then we can look forward too a really good next album if they left king records so they could do it the way they want too.

That's one possibility. That's the possibility I HOPE for.
But the exact opposite is also possible (which scares me). That Avex will support them in the clean power-pop direction, and really keep pushing that.
It would be great if someone researched Avex a bit, to see what kind of music the label puts out.
I have faith in Sawao. I do.
