the pillows CONFIRMED for SXSW
According to SXSW news site http://www.donewaiting.com/sxsw/, the pillows have been OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED to be playing at SXSW in Austin, TX! Myself being an Austin residant, I'm really excited about this!
Some SXSW info:
-Held March 11-20th in Austin, TX.
-You can get a wristband for around $100-$150 at select Austin locations starting mid-february, or online when you book a hotel room at http://www.southbywristbands.com The wristband will more or less get you into any show, you may have problems getting into the BIG acts (aka not the pillows). Badge holders (those with $400 to spend) get first access, then the wristband holders. Single-event tickets *MAY* be available, but not always, and you will only get in if there's room after badge holders and writsband ppl get in.
-Many venues are 21+, and most of the rest are 18+, there are only a few all-ages venues. At this point, the date/time/venues for ANY band are unknown.
-One person can only buy 4 wristbands... so in a few weeks I'll be looking for 3 other ppl that want someone who lives in austin to buy them a wristband *hint hint*
More details as they come!

i wish i had the money (and more importantly: the time) to travel all the way to austin and see them play. but i don't. sucks for me...

woo.
well, their site says they've still got shows in japan in april. i can surmise either they're cramming everything in the u.s. in march, or they're coming back after april.

I noticed that myself. Why they would go back and forth is beyond me all though I guess it's possible. I was really hoping they would do a couple of months here.

That's why I asked before how strict are security to allow this to happen.
I would like a little collection of live bootlegs, then sell them 30 years later. It did wonders for Velvet and Zeppelin fans AND record labels.
