I downloaded this a few weeks back, but I've since deleted it. I couldn't stand to see one of the greatest songs ever written by man get brutally raped by a 40 year old Jackie Chan clone in a pink shirt running around like a flamer on the massive stage / ramps.

Not to mention that face he makes when singing O_o

Their drummer and guitarist fail on pretty much every level. Some songs like Hana have interesting solos, but they don't even play the solos live, they just do some cheesy pop breakdown.

Mr.Children is a perfect example of apathy and complacency in music fans, not just in the US or Japan, but the world over. If talent and popularity were direct variables, the pillows would have 10X the popularity of Mr.Children, not vise-versa.

Not to mention Mr.Children / Bank Band is effectively claiming this song as their own, seeing as a good number of their fans don't know or could care less who "ZA PIROUZU" is

I never really liked the Mister Children version of Strange Chamellion....

I dunno.......it's just, compared to the Pillows version, it sucks so bad. I was expecting so much more from that song when I bought Synchronized Rockers.

I really liked their version. Using the synthesizer for the solo was pretty cool. It's a lot more faster and upbeat than the pillows original version.

Just as I'm sure no one who's ever covered "And I Ran" tells their fans who the original artist is. How will they EVER know it was by Flock Of Seagulls????? Oh noes!

Seriously. The fans either know who did the song, or they don't. It matters very little either way.

I love the way they covered the song. It's a different take, and I happen to like the guy's vocals... well, on the recorded version anyways. If you'll notice, even Sawao has problems singing it live (Busters on the Planet, anyone...?).

However, someone needs to lower the crack dosage in the drummer's tea.

I recently found a bunch of Mr. Children's old singles at the record exchange for 2 bucks each (singles 1, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, and 9 lol) and i really like their old stuff.
